Dr. Raja graduated from the University of Leicester with a Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery in 2013. He then worked as a Clinical Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery at King's College Hospital in London before developing his skills further during his core surgical training in Manchester and becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. It was during this time that he took an interest in restorative surgery, particularly skin-grafting techniques used to treat patients with burns, which ultimately led to his career in hair restoration surgery.

Having gained extensive knowledge training with some of the world’s most distinguished hair restoration surgeons, Dr. Raja is one of the few surgeons highly specialised in both advanced follicular unit extraction (FUE) and follicular unit transplantation (FUT) procedures. His expertise in the field and advocacy for higher industry standards has garnered him recognition and lead to appearances on the BBC, and in publications including Men's Health and The Independent among others.
