How much does TRT cost?

Costs for Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) in the UK vary depending on the medication plan you opt for. You can get started from £80 per month.  This price includes medication, follow up reviews with our doctors, doctor’s letters, referrals, postage and on-going support. Follow up blood tests are extra, however.

Unlike many clinics, MANUAL’s package is inclusive of postage, doctor assessments, medication reviews and replacements for failed blood tests.  So there are no hidden costs!  

Initial Consultation Costs 

At MANUAL we offer three tailored packages to cater for a range of budgets:

Face-to-face Consultation 

For patients who prefer a face-to-face consultation or are not suitable for remote consultation you can attend one of MANUAL’s private clinic locations in London or Southampton for a face-to-face consultation with one of our clinical team.

MANUAL’s face-to-face consultation is £180

Remote Consultation      

For most patients under the age of 45 with an uncomplicated past medical history and appropriate blood tests results you will qualify for a remote consultation.  Our clinical team will evaluate whether you are suitable for a remote consultation.

MANUAL’s remote consultation is £150. 

Transfer Consultation 

Patients who are already on a course of TRT with another provider can transfer their care and are offered a discounted consultation.

MANUAL’s face-to-face transfer consultation is £150 and our remote transfer consultation is £100. 

Monthly Subscriptions Costs 

Monthly Subscription 

MANUAL’s monthly subscription includes ongoing support from the team, including follow-up consultations with our clinical team and the cost of your medication.  There are no surprises as postage, reviews, doctors letters, referrals, travel letters and medication reviews are all included in the monthly subscription costs.

Furthermore, we do not charge any extra fees for postage or administrative services – something most clinics cannot offer.

Add-ons 

One way to get the most out of a product is to invest in add-ons. They are available for many products and can help enhance your experience.

Fertility injection add-on 

If you are on a higher dose then you will use one vial of HCG per month, lower doses last around 10 weeks. 

You can choose to have this added to your subscription on repeat or manual ordering. Single vials are priced at £40, two vials are priced at £75 and three vials are priced at £105.

Oestrogen controlling medication

Our clinicians aim to avoid prescribing these where possible, although some men may need them due to a higher body fat ratio or a tendency toward higher oestrogen levels.

For £30, you can purchase a pack that typically lasts more than four months.

Blood Tests

Blood Tests are important to ensure that we are providing safe and effective care to our TRT patients.  Blood Tests are required before TRT treatment is recommended and to ensure your treatment plan is appropriate for you.  It is also important to monitor your TRT treatment at regular intervals to ensure that you don’t suffer from any potential issues related to testosterone usage.

Blood tests are not included in your monthly subscription plan.  After each one, you’ll receive direct feedback and counselling from a doctor – included in the subscription fees. 

Doctor’s letters, GP letters and correspondence 

It is important that you keep your GP and other professionals involved in your care up to date with your care and treatment.  All letters and supporting correspondence that you may need are included in the monthly subscription ;price. 

Blood tests, Bacteriostatic water and injection supplies are not included in the subscription cost and we provide these at competitive prices.
